New Delhi: Indian actor Shreyas Talpade recently opened up about his heart attack being related to the recent COVID-19 vaccine update. This has sparked discussions about its possible connection to recently discovered side effects. In an interview with Lehren Retro, the Om Shanti Om actor shed light on his health regimen, highlighting his minimal alcohol intake and absence of smoking habits. Despite these precautions, Shreyas found himself facing a heart attack, leading him to contemplate the role of the vaccine in his health scare.

Shreyas, 48, expressed his confusion over the sudden health setback, and stated, No diabetes, no blood pressure, nothing, then what could be the reason? He further hinted at a potential correlation between his heart attack and the COVID-19 vaccination, citing the onset of fatigue and tiredness post-vaccination.

Expressing his curiosity, the Welcome to Sajjanpur actor pondered over the effects of the vaccine on individuals, questioning the unforeseen consequences. He admitted uncertainty regarding whether it was the virus itself or the vaccine that triggered his health episode. Despite his reservations, he stressed the importance of substantiated claims and refrained from making baseless statements.

He added, There has to be some amount of truth, and we cannot negate the theory. Maybe it is COVID or the vaccine, but there is something associated post thatIt is very unfortunate because we genuinely dont know what we have taken inside our bodies.

Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack in October 2023 while he was on the set of his upcoming film in Mumbai. Initially feeling unwell upon returning home, he collapsed, prompting immediate medical attention. Subsequent medical procedures, including angioplasty, followed his hospitalisation

Shreyas will next be seen in Kangana Ranauts upcoming film Emergency. The movie is a biopic on the former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The actor will play the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
