COVID-19 hospitalizations up in Western PA, 17% in Allegheny County, 60% in Mercer

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists 30,000 new COVID-19 hospitalizations in the United States in a week's time, and 1,300 of those cases were from Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists 30,000 new COVID-19 hospitalizations in the United States in a week's time, and 1,300 of those cases were from Pennsylvania. In Allegheny County, the CDC reports that cases for the week ending Dec. 23 were up 17%, and in Mercer County, COVID-19 hospitalizations increased 60%."It is still making people very sick, especially, and this is anecdotal, but I found that people who have never have somehow so far missed getting COVID and they get this one, they may not be hospitalization level of illness, but they still feel pretty bad.
