Several COVID-19 cases reported at White County Government Building – wlfi.com

WHITE COOUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) Six employees at the White County courthouse are battling COVID-19 and others are showing symptoms.

This is according to the White County Commissioners' local disaster emergency declaration.

It was published Tuesday.

It said people have tested positive for COVID-19 and some are awaiting results after showing symptoms.

The White County Government said it has reached out directly to the employees who have been in close contact with the infected people.

Those employees were told to self-quarantine at home.

The statement provided on the White County government website laid out some additions details

It said the courthouse building was deep cleaned on May 21st, 2020.

It also said White County government officials realize the concerns and assuring everyone they are doing everything they can to mitigate the spread.
