24 new COVID-19 cases reported for Juneau City and Borough of Juneau – City and Borough of Juneau

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 24 new Juneau residents identified with COVID-19 for September 28. There arecurrentlyseven people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

The Juneau School District reports two new individuals whove tested positive for COVID-19 and were infectious while in school:

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports726 new peopleidentified with COVID-19 694 are residents and 32 are nonresidents. The state also reports 10 recent deaths bringing the total number of resident deaths to 542:

Alaska has had 107,640 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 4,751 nonresidents.
